Hello everyone I'm from Bulgaria and i have a big problem with my rally, i bought it from Italy last december and since then it was hasitating in middle range of rpm not exactly hasitating but basicaly it cuts and runs when you drive it not in the range from 5000 to 7000 rpm. If i pull the hand brake or when I'm in corners the engine stops and then starts only with full throthle, when i opened the carbs i saw the jets are not corect .they were 145 f68 190, idle 45 f9, pump jets 35 aux ventury 48 and choke 34.
Now The car is with choke 34, aux ventury 48,pump jets 35, idle 55f8, 140 f 15 205 and the float is 12,5 mm (plastic)and it's much better it's ok when i'm cornering because of the float level and the emulsion tube , but it starts and stops in the middle range .When it does it it smokes black and if i give it more fuel it comes worst I tried with smaller jets but it's very slow.The carbs are 40 DCOM 11, now i strip the engine and the gearbox and i want to order new parts for the carbs ant the gearbox . I hope someone will help me with the right configuration of the carbs and i'll order them.
onether problem maybe is the camshaft .Is anyone who can give me the original sizes and durations in degrees This one is very strange the peak moment of the inlet and the exhaust are very close one to another the cam lift is around 7.5 mm.., i will measure it soon and wiil write to you for suggestions
Where can i buy spare parts for the gaerbox( 2 and 3 gear and all the seals) and headers 4 in 1 or 4 - 2- 1(which one is better for this car) and the gaskets between the carbs and the head including those from rubber.

I hope so and I'll be very happy, now i noticed that the choke are like 45 dcom .What do you think about it ? Whether it's posible only the covers to be from 40 dcom11 .Thank you very much .I'll need your help to make the engine runs normaly and the cars flying

Hi, I modify your text to make it more readeable.
For your carbs, It often make problems at middle range. It might be the synchronization between them or fuel mixture. Maybe a simple ajustement can help you. But take a look at your camshaft before, if it's out of order it can't work correctly
For gearbox parts, I don't know... for gear box, maybe Peugeot in Bulgaria ? headers maybe find at GT2i or BPS but I'm not sure they can send it to you ?? contact them (links at the top of the forum). For gaskets between the carbs, you meen the large black one ? maybe in your dream, of if someone got it... but very difficult to find and not sure of the quality. (it can be the source of your first problem)

The camshaft must have one "2" engraved(burnt) in the rear, otherwise I can send you the characteristics by e-mail.

Thank you very much for the answers, on the back of the camshaft there is a 2 in circle,so you mean it's a stock please write me some settings for the carbs i'm not looking for economy , i like it when it's flexible in all rpm range, in the middle of the camshaft it's 90 or 06 and brown paint. yes, that is the good camshaft....

.... i will send to you the carbs settings, it's peugeot documentation in french, if you not understand i will try to traduct....
